Optimus Knight Rider

The Optimus Knight Rider Circuit is a 6 bulb LED circuit built using CD4017 Decade Counter and 555 Timer IC which
simulates the LED pattern demonstrated in the Knight Rider car (A popular TV series in the 80s). The working principle, circuit diagram and components can be found in the
Assembly Document below.

This electronic learning kit is designed for youngsters and hobbyists to learn fundamental concepts and practice skills such as component
identification, soldering, and testing. Before diving into programmable electronics such as Arduinos, this book is highly recommended for anybody interested in electronics.

You’ll need a soldering iron, a stand for the iron, lead, and a 5V power supply. The presence of an adult is required at all times.
